CATHERINE  CREANEY
Catherine Creaney (b.1978) is a Northern Irish Artist who has featured in many group exhibitions in the UK and Ireland including The Royal Hibernian Annual exhibition in Dublin, The Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition in Belfast and The Derwent Art Prize in London. She has received several awards for her work including The ESB Keating Award and Silver Medal for an outstanding art work at the 185th Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition, First Place in the 2014 Artist’s Magazine All-Media Online Competition and twice winning The Drawing Prize and The Rowel Friers Perpetual Trophy at the Royal Ulster Academy’s Annual Exhibition. In 2016 she was shortlisted for the Hennessy Portrait Prize, Dublin. Most recently in 2017 she has been awarded the don niccolo d'ardia caracciolo award at the Royal Hibernian Annual Exhibition, Dublin and The Henri Roche Award and The People's Choice Award at The First International Pastel Exhibition, Rome. Upcoming work will be exhibited at the National Open Art Exhibition, London.
